Jews and The Rapture- Why they want so desperately to convert us.

If you’ve been reading my blog you know that there is a huge Christian evangelical movement to convert Jews to Christianity. They call it Messianic Judaism and tell the lie that you can believe that Yehoshua (Jesus) is your messiah and still be a practicing Jew. I’m not going to go into why that is a lie in this blog. I’m going to try to answer the question of why they have a mandate to have Jews accept Jesus as their savior.

The goal of messianic “Judaism” and similar groups is to blur the line between Judaism and Christianity, to make Christianity more palatable to Jews.  Some evangelical Christian’s believe that for the return of Christ to occur, a certain amount of Jews must accept Jesus. The count varies but 144,000; 12,000 for each of the 12 tribes is a popular number. Most messianic “Jewish” congregations and organizations are intertwined with the evangelicals, who start and fund these congregations. Most of the members of messianic “Jewish” congregations are practicing evangelical Christians.

If you have never heard of the Rapture you are about to. The concept was popularized in the 17th century by Increase Mather and his son Cotton Mather. They said that those who believed would be caught up in the air. When all these good Chistians were miraculously transported to (presumably) heaven, those left on earth would be judged and this would be followed by the millenium.

Today there are variations on the theme but the basics remain the same. The big difference is the Jewish factor. When the UN voted to give the Jewish people their own nation in 1948, some evangelicals saw this as a sign of prophesy in the Christian bible coming to fruition. I don’t know how they interpreted the bible and there are many different interpretations but this is a compendium of what they believe.

When 144,000 Jews have been converted to accept Jesus, the Rapture will occur sending all true Christians immediately to heaven and the arms of Jesus. (The first reason they need to convert us.) Left behind will be everyone else. During the next thousand years, the anti-Christ will walk the earth trying to turn people away from Jesus. At the same time, the 144,000 converted Jews will walk the earth trying to get people to accept Jesus. (Now you know the second reason they need to convert us.) At the end of a thousand years, the Second Coming will occur and Jesus will return to earth, ruling from Jerusalem. At that time all those who  accepted Jesus will live on earth in peace;  The rest of us-well sorry dear reader but we’re going to hell and burn in the fires of eternal damnation.  Oh, and I thought the Christians were doing this out of their love for the Jews.

Well the truth is out. Evangelical Christians want Israel for Jesus and his followers while they live it up somewhere up above. The fact that Jews, Muslims, Buddhists and all the other faiths that don’t accept their belief system will be burning below, doesn’t seem to bother them one bit. So please-don’t tell me that evangelical Christians are raising millions upon millions of dollars for Israel to help the Jews. Their motives are clear if you just open your eyes and mind to see them. Most of their money in Israel goes to form centers run by evangelical Christiansto help Jews accept Yehoshua (Jesus). The leaders in Israel are blinded by the money and look away from the truth of these people. They are not our friends, they are our nemesis.

My husband tells me this piece of history from the Holocaust. Eichmann offered the Allies a trade; 500 Jews for one truck. He was turned down and the thousands that might have been saved, went to their deaths in the camps. My question is this: What is the price of a Jew today?

  1. I am a christian and I am terribly sorry for what happened to your husband and whoever lost their lives. I know there are many false christians out there who are telling lies to Jews to convert them. Jews4Jesus movement etc are not staying true to the written word of God.

Joshua (Jesus) is the Messiah sent by Adonai the Father of creation and he loves you. I know these people who are leading the Jews astray through lies and I am going to warn these Jews4Jesus to leave this false evil movement and turn to the real Jesus Christ.

    • To Christian girl,
I appreciate your comment and understand that you have a true belief in your faith. I respect your right to worship as you please and wish that you and other Christians would respect ours. The descendents of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob were the first people to believe in monotheism, one G-d. We received the Ten Commandments, Torah and an obligation to be a light to all others by following these tenets. We do this by example, not by trying to make others believe as we do.
Christianity is based on the belief that one Jew who, along with many others in that period of history, was believed to be the messiah. He and the others were shown to be false messiahs based on the guidelines set out in the Torah. Years after his death, Paul, one of his disciples formed the religion we now know as Christianity, based on the supposed teachings of that one Jew. The basic belief that anyone can achieve salvation and spend eternity in heaven simply by believing in this one Jew and accepting him as your saviour, made this religion very appealing to the masses and it grew in leaps and bounds.
Jews do not accept any of the above and have kept to the faith that has sustained us throughout our history. We do not appreciate when well meaning Christians want to, “save” us as it is offensive to our very existence. Christians need to realize that they do not want to spread the gospel to save us and others that do not practice Christianity. Rather they are trying to achieve their own salvation through the supposed resurrection of that one Jew.
I respectfully request that when you tell the Christians that pay for and run messianic “Jewish” organizations to back off that you tell your fellow believers to back off as well. This country guarantees us the right to worship as we please without fear of interference. Once Christians (and other religions such as Islams) learn this lesson, then Jews will be able to live here in peace and harmony.

      • I totally agree with you. This would be great if they did leave us alone. Christians have been trying to convert me for years. I lost two Christian friends because they continued to try and convert me.

      • Adam,
The two friends you lost were not worth having if all they wanted from you was conversion. When I was young, my best friend was a devout Catholic. We totally respected each other’s beliefs. We grew apart but I have many fond memories of our friendship.
Admittedly, most of my friends are Jewish but I live in a city where evangelical Southern Baptists have a strong foothold and it is hard to know what a person’s motives are. Be aware but do not lose the opportunity to make a friend just because their faith is different from yours.

  2. Well I would like to convert to the Jewish Faith I have been to a synagogue before and worshipped along side Jews. I know Your God is the Father of creation. I am from the United Kingdom.

    • Teresa,
If you are serious about converting to Judaism the first thing to do is to contact a Rabbi, preferably one that is orthodox. There are also reform, conservative and reconstructionist Rabbis. The first thing you should know is that Jews do not encourage converts. You have to be very sure of your desires as it is a long, arduous road especially if you choose an orthodox conversion. I can give you no advice other than that.
Now that you have the information I would like to say that I have seen your Facebook page and have doubts as to the veracity of your desire to become Jewish. I know of Christians that have gone through complete conversions only to use their status as a Jew to start or join messianic “Jewish” congregations, especially in Israel. They then use their status to convince real Jews that like themselves, these Jews can find happiness as a “completed” Jew by accepting Yehoshua (Jesus) as their messiah and savior.
Think carefully as to your real motives for wanting to convert and remember that you are judged by your deeds. Susan

      • I was brought up Christian and always struggled with it. Recently I have started looking into the Jewish beliefs which surprisingly are much like my own. I never understood the ‘scare tactics’ for trying to convert someone to Christianity. To say the lions share of people will burn in hell for not believing your way is just to crazy for me. I know Christians mean well but I really wish they would leave the Jewish people be. Jews are just as passionate about their beliefs as Christians are theirs. To date I am a woman who believes in G-d and does my best to live out his words. I am of no religion just a strong believer in G-d almighty and believe the messiah will come.

      • Teri, thank you for your very kind comment. I like to believe that I can get a picture of a person using the comments he/she write. What I see in you is a person who once had a strong belief in Christianity and misses having that community. I have belonged a Jewish synagogue all of my life and cherish the community I had within each one. I do not suggest that you convert to Judaism as that is not what Jewish people do. I do suggest that you continue your quest until you find a place you can call home. Enjoy the journey!

  3. The price of a Jew today? The christians believe that any Jew can be bought,if the price is right! That is why the Basic Law about personal freedom and dignity states:It is prohibited to use people’s needs to promote one’s religion, ideology.
christians say that the law singles out the christians. That is absolutely not true.As a child survivor,I am often the target for this kind.Even my social worker suggest that I can get finacial help from cristian organisations.Last year many of us were given 500NIS,turned out the money came from The fellowship of christians and Jews.It hurts because it was done in such a sneaky way.
I have to admit your question about the price of a Jew today was a bit hurtful, but I take no offense was intended….

    • Thank you for your comment my blog, Jews and The Rapture. You are correct in noting that as a survivor you are targeted by Christians looking to convert you through their lies. Holocaust survivors, Russian and Ethiopian immigrants, the elderly, the poor, drug addicts and the indigent have been and continue to be their targets. More recently, messianic “Jews” have infiltrated the army and prey on those who are lonely and frightened. An alarming number of converts are being caught that way.

I am well aware of the fellowship of Christians and Jews and I am sorry that you are in their cross hairs. You are also spot on when you say that it was done in a sneaky way.hat is the only way they can operate. No one would bother with them if they came out and said, ” We are Christians and we want you to convert you because we believe that will bring on the second coming of Christ and the Armageddon. By the way if your family and friends don’t convert, they will burn in eternal hell.” Yeah, that would work!

Last thing; I definitely did not mean to be offensive but sometimes I have to use strong language and imagery to make my point.

      • The reason that needy Jews are convinced to convert is because we Jews don’t have very many outreach programs to try and help needy Jews. I live in Denver and there are very few Jewish nonprofit organizations that help Jews. The organizations we do have in this area offer very limited resources.

      • I looked up a few organizations in Denver that might be helpful to check out. http://www.jewishcolorado.org/,http://www.mazeltot.org/organizations, http://www.milechai.org/jewish-denver/jewish-denver-directory.html
It seems there is a vast amount ofresources to help you. I know that Denver has a large number of synagogues and community organizations. Jewish Family Services has many community outreach programs. I hope that you seek the help you need both spiritually and financially.

I do want to say that it is not just poverty that lures Jews, it is a lack of knowledge about the beauty and spirituality of their own faith. Jewish education is a must, family celebration of all the holidays and taking care of our elderly so they are not easy prey because they are lonely.

Hopefully, some of what I said will help you. Best of luck.

  4. I do not make statements that are untrue. Evangelical Christians believe that the rapture will occur when enough Jews are converted so that they can combat the anti-Christ. This is supposed to happen when, as they believe, Jesus has risen and all true Christians have gone to heaven. After the battle against the anti-Christ and his followers has been won, all those who believe in Christ will remain on an earth that will be peaceful and those who don’t will burn in eternal damnation in hell. These facts are easy to check for yourself.

Jews believe that the Messiah will be a man born here who will be of pure heart and deed and a direct decendant of David. Before he will come, there are certain things that must happen here on earth, none of which have happened as yet. We believe that when Moshiach does come, all Jewish souls will return to Israel where they will live in peace. All those not of the Jewish faith will live in a world of peace as well. That is a simplification of what we believe. To learn more speak to an orthodox Rabbi.

Judaism does not seek converts and in fact initially discourages them. We do not tell people that they can believe in only one G-d rather than a trinity, and still be Christian. Ours is an ancient faith that has survived all those who tried to destroy us. We will survive the Jew scammers who lie and deceive to achieve what they believe. Shame on them and all others who think that their salvation lies in converting Jews,

  5. Wow, great subject!. First and foremost, not all Christians buy into the ‘Replacement” Theolgy. However,a great many do and it is sad. Christianity ( if a Christian understands their OWN scripture ) is nothing more than Judaism, beleieving in the New Covenant spoken of by Jeremiah.

Secondly, not all of us think the worse of you, nor buy into the stereotypes. Again, it is sad that many do and are even wrongfully taught those things. All it means is they have no knowledge of the Jews, or Torah, or the Prophets.

The Jewish people ARE G_d’s Chosen People, for a specific purpose. The Christians are simply Gentiles grafted into Judaism …being bound by Noahide law rather than the full Torah requirements for the Jewish people.

It seems that prior to the Law of Moses, Grace did abound through Faith. 2,000 years. Then Moses carried the Law to his people. 2,000 years later, Christians believe Meshiach arrived and as Danial said “Was cut off for a time…”. For Christians to rebuff the Jewish people and their faith is to not only misunderstand their own scripture…but the root of it which is Judasim.

In the end, we ALL ( should ) believe in the same ending…Meshiach ruling from Jerusalem for 1,000 years. Peace and full blessings to the Jews…they will be teachers of all men and examples to Righteousness!

I am Christian, but would never, could never despise or displace the Jewish people. Without their courage throught the centuries and adherence to Torah through all tribulations over the centuries…there would be no Christianity. As Christians, we are basically Jews without the full Law, yet considered righteous by G_d AND the Jews; should we follow some simple Noahide rules.

We need to LISTEN to the Jewish people and LET them teach us as well without ever judging them. We will ALL end up in Jerusalem at the feet of Meshiach…whether He lived 2,000 years ago and Christians are correct…or if He comes in the future and the Jews have been correct. Does it truly matter? He is the Son of David…a man. He prayed to the father..Abba…he is the Priest of Mediation and stands between flesh and Holiness that we may know righteousness and follow G-D with all of our heart and soul.

Dear Jewish brethren…your time is soon coming and you will not only be vindicated for all time, you will rule and teach in high places. The Throne of David, son of Jesse will remain forever. And when all is finished, there will be no difference between Jew and Gentile, for we shall ALL be one under our Creator. Please, continue in your faith, your obedience to Torah, there is a season for all things under the sun and none of us is judge. Only G_d knows the heart. I know you will remember mercy and lovingkindness to those who misunderstood you for these countless centuries. It will be your purpose to show forth the character of Yah and teach the nations in that time.

Christians…study to show yourselves approved…and to do this you MUST understand Judaism in its great detail. Love your fellow man and pray for the peace of Jerusalem…the city whose streams make glad the heart of G_d!

Jewish brethren…look past the ignorance in Church teachings and even the judgements of those who do not understand. Not all of us are bad, and even those who think such things are not. They merely speak the only thing they know without knowing that truth begins in Genesis and works all the way through to the end of all scripture. One day we shall ALL have the same understanding..wherever that may fall! 🙂 Until then, let us stand alongside each other, for righteousness in ANY faith is often attacked and despised by the worldly and wicked people around us.

I fully support and love the Jews, and am thankful for their faithfulness and diligence in carrying the torch of Torah that we may even today…have it to study and learn from. In the end, will G-D care about the petty bickering of theology? Or will he see who cared for the widow and orphan in their day of trouble? Let us all embrace our similarities and love each past the differences. In the end, for those who follow Yahweh….we will dwell together in the House of The Lord forever…Amen

The decendants of Abraham shall live forever in righteousness.

    • I am not quite sure what to make of your quite long comment. You sound at times, like you are a person that supports the Jews but then you sound as if you want us to end up being like you. I was going to delete your comment but then decided that my readers should see who is reading this blog. Whatever your reason for writing, thank you for doing so, even though it left me quite confused as to your motives.

      • No kidding. I’m Catholic, and while reading that wall of calculated rhetoric, all sorts of evangelical alarms went off in my head. Yeah, sure, all that matters are fundamentalist Christians and Jews standing united in eternal solidarity under Mosaic Law. Next to that, accepting Jesus Christ as ones personal Lord and Savior is just side fries; right, Traveler? Right?? Traveler???

  6. This just drives me nuts. This whole idiotic thing about converting 144,00 Jews so the Rapture can occur is a view held by only a very small and biblically ignorant group that in no way represents evangelical Christians. Sadly, they just seem to have the biggest mouths. I know the verses they are looking at and are blatantly misinterpreting. Ignore these people. Their ignorance is only exceeded by their zeal.

Please understand that there are millions of born-again Christians who love, honor, support, stand with the Jewish people and pray to the God of Israel for their safety and well-being and for the peace of God’s holy city Jerusalem, the eternal and undivided capital of Israel, the land God gave to His people the Jews as an everlasting inheritance.

And these loud-mouthed, Scripture-mangling morons DO NOT represent us!

    • Greg,
I agree that not all evangelical Christians are involved with converting Jews for the Rapture. However, all evangelical Christians have the same mission which is to witness, first to the Jew. Whatever the reason for wanting to bring Jesus to the Jews, the result is the same. I find it insulting that any Christian believes that their religion is better than mine and that I need to accept Jesus to be saved. Yes, you love us but you still want us to be Christian, ostensibly so that we won’t burn in hell. Well Jews do not believe in hell, especially one of eternal damnation in fire and brimstone. So please, love us less and respect us more.

    • Jews are not martyrs. When we are killed the world turns a blind eye. Suddenly the world sees Christians being murdered (which is horrible) by radical Muslims. Tell me, what is the difference between these Muslims and the Christians that burned, tortured and murdered Jews during the Inquisition? DO NOT even suggest that the small pocket of Arab Christians that are in danger any way compares to the dangers that Jews in Israel and all over the world face every day.

  7. i’m confused. we still have a 1000 years to go (after the 14400 before that happens? and according to wiki those numbers have long been surpassed with over a million messianic jews in america.

    • Exactly; their premise is false because their is no such thing as a messianic “Jew”. Those Jews that accept Jesus as their savior are practicing Christians. The idea of 1,000 years is a Christian theology and not relevant to Jews.

What I am trying to say is that it is fruitless to try and get Jews to believe in Jesus because that will not bring on messianic age. Jesus may have been a Jew but we do not believe he was part of a trinity, son of G-d or anything other than a rabble rousing young man who, along with many others, was crucified for his political inconvenience, not for your sins. Feel free to believe as you wish but allow Jews to do the same.

      • It is impossible for any man on Earth to change anyone else’s heart. It is not up to mankind! Christians know this and obviously Jews know this also. So your point that a Christian wants to change you is fruitless. But we have been told to go out and tell people about Jesus Christ …what he did and who he is…it is not up to anyone to CHANGE anyone else’s heart. But understand this…Christians are NOT your enemies…so why do you hate them???? Wasted time I would say.

      • Sandy, let me first address the assumption you made that I hate Christians. That is unequivocally not true. In my lifetime I have had many friends of different Christian faiths. What I do despise is the effort by mostly, fanatical Southern Baptist evangelicals, to convert Jews through lies and deceit.

Now I will address your unsuccessful attempt to make me believe that any Christian that witnesses to a non-believer is trying to do anything other than change their belief system. If your intent is not to change them then why are you witnessing your belief. I have often asked Christians such as yourself, where they get the audacity to think that your belief in Christ has any more validity than my belief in only one G-d. You can say that Jesus was the son of G-d, G-d in human form or the messiah. Christianity is still different from Judaism, or Hinduism, Shintoism and any other group of people with a faith different than yours.

You want to be a Christian, fine, I respect that choice and will not do anything to try and change your mind. You want to open up a temple that looks Jewish, sounds Jewish and prays in what sounds Jewish; watch out! I will expose you, I will expose any of your members that come to our synagogues to learn how better to imitate us and to look for those you might deem vulnerable to your lies. I am not alone in my efforts and more and more, we are educating Jews to your fly traps and eventually, they will remain empty.

  8. All orthodox Jews agree that the actual prophecies about the Jewish Moshiach are focused on the fulfilled promises that will mark the era and age of his coming not on the Moshiach himself as his role is in leading people into the proper worship and glorification of G-d alone.
    * The Sanhedrin will be re-established (Isaiah 1:26)
    * Once he is king, leaders of other nations will look to him for guidance. (Isaiah 2:4)
    * The whole world will worship the One G-d of Yisrael (Isaiah 2:17)
    * He will be descended from King David (Isaiah 11:1) via King Solomon (1 Chronicles 22:8-10) [Tribal lineage is via the biological father from one of the 12 sons of Jacob/Israel.]
    * The Moshiach will be a man of this world, an observant Jew with “fear of G-d” (Isaiah 11:2)
*****In other words – this must all be accomplished in a human lifetime*****
    * Evil and tyranny will not be able to stand before his leadership (Isaiah 11:4)
    * Knowledge of G-d will fill the world (Isaiah 11:9)
    * He will include and attract people from all cultures and nations (Isaiah 11:10)
    * All Israelites will be returned to their homeland (Isaiah 11:12)
    * Death will be swallowed up forever (Isaiah 25:8)
    * There will be no more hunger or illness, and death will cease (Isaiah 25:8)
    * All of the dead will rise again (Isaiah 26:19)
    * The Jewish people will experience eternal joy and gladness (Isaiah 51:11)
    * He will be a messenger of peace (Isaiah 52:7)
    * Nations will end up recognizing the wrongs they did to Israel (Isaiah 52:13-53:5)
    * The peoples of the world will turn to the Jews for spiritual guidance (Zechariah 8:23)
    * The ruined cities of Yisrael will be restored (Ezekiel 16:55)
    * Weapons of war will be destroyed (Ezekiel 39:9)
    * The Temple will be rebuilt (Ezekiel 40) resuming many of the suspended mitzvos
    * He will then perfect the entire world to serve G-d together (Zephaniah 3:9)
    * Jews will know the Torah without study (Jeremiah 31:33)
    * He will give you all the desires of your heart (Psalms 37:4)
    * He will take the barren land and make it abundant and fruitful (Isaiah 51:3, Amos 9:13-15, Ezekiel 36:29-30, Isaiah 11:6-9).

    • David,

My feeling is that you are involved in messianic “Judaism” or are a Torah Observant Christian. The latter is usually a conduit for converting Jews.
You put down an awful lot of quotes but I noticed that many (possibly all) are from the Christian version of what they call the old testament . We have a bible which is the original one given by God to Moses. Christians rewrote it to make it give credence to Jesus. The New Testament has many versions written by many different people. The Torah has not changed since it was written. Moshiach (the Messiah) will come when a certain number of conditions occur on this earth. This has not happened yet but we hope and pray that it will soon.

If you write again, I would appreciate your own respectful thoughts and not a lot of biblical quotes.
      Susan

    • Betty, I don’t know if you are trying to say that the Jews are G=ds chosen people and that the Jew scammers should stop trying to convert them; or if you are an evangelical or a messianic “Jew”. If the former, please make your comments a little more expansive so I can understand what you are trying to say. If the latter the following is for you.
Okay, I went back and re-read all of Deuteronomy 28. I didn’t find anything hidden in plain sight or anywhere else. This parsha (portion of the Torah) talks of the blessings the twelve tribes (later to be called the Jewish people) will receive if they follow all of G-d’s commandments and what will happen if they don’t. The latter part is quite frightening but really makes the point. It concludes on a high note. If you think that anywhere in that parsha it says anything about the man Jesus (later to be known as part of the trinity) being a messiah, son of G-d or anything else, write back and show me.

  9. It sounds like a great deal of hated being spued from those who have been deceived by “scammers.” By contrast, those who honestly believe that Jesus was the Messiah (see above) have a right to believe as you do – not to hurt you. The first Christians were Jews. The basic fact is that each person lays claims to his or her own belief and beliefs are difficult to change.

I wish this site could be used to express the love, compassion and faithfulness of the Almighty. There is only one God who created all and everything. This should be the focus of those who vow to uphold any faith – One God, One faith and one baptism. Don’t forget that those who believe in Jesus (your brother) as Messiah do no have to achieve anything – they have sampled the wares. In other words, it’ s not just a bunch of words but action from Messiah that heals, feeds, clothes, and touches where no religion could ever present – the heart. So while we Jews and Gentiles fight it out remember we have assignments to fulfill, to share with the world our knowledge of the power and grace of Adonai. I love Adonai so very much, therefore, I love Jews and Gentiles unconditionally. My love does not look for any parties to agree to a set of laws, just the Spirit of the Law, the universal law – love!!! If you do not display love, tolerance and patience with humankind because you hold their beliefs suspect then I question the account of your God who left you thousands of years of dialogue and instructions. Your prophets heralded your duty towards each other and to the gentiles, not to fight those who try to scam you (you’re stronger than that) but to love them in spite of themselves. G-d will deal with those imposters.

Oh and no, this is not a scheme- but from what I understand about the Second greatest commandment of Adonai only – “Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself, on these two commandments depend the whole law and the prophets.” These are not my words – they belong to the Creator, your God and my God, who is very capable of separating wheat from tares and defending Himself.

    • I would love to know why I attract people who ramble on and say very little. First of all the first Christians were Christians, not Jews. I have discussed this before so I will just say that Christianity started long after Jesus died. There were Jews that believed Jesus was Moshiach (the Messiah) but it was proved that he and many other were false in their claims. Tue Jews are still waiting for Moshiach.
As for the rest of your comment, you and others of your ilk need to understand that I do not hate Christians. I have and still have many Christian friends. What I do hate are Jew Scammers. Those are the evangelical Christians that start and support messianic “Jewish” organizations and congregations. Again, read my other blogs if you want to know why. As to loving everyone equally, good luck with that I judge a person on how they are, not what they are. Finally the quote is incorrect. It says that you shall not do unto your neighbor what is hateful to you.

I thank you for taking the time to comment but please, cut out all the loving Chistian babble and look at the facts. All Christians are called to convert Jews and others who don’t believe as they do, but to the Jew first. How about I respect your right to believe as you wish and you do the same for me. If we all did that, the Jew Scammers would be out of business.

  10. Well, according to the bible the kind of rapture which you describe in this blog is actually entirely unbiblical. Nowhere in the bible does it say that there is a such thing as a millennium where people are stuck on Earth. In fact Revelation says “He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil or satan and bound him for a thousand years. He threw him into the abyss and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from decieveing the nations anymore until the thousand nations are ended.” With that said, how does it make sense that during that thousand years the final tribulation will taking place with the anti-Christ if the devil is locked up and unable to deceive the nations. It just doesn’t make sense. Modern-Day Christianity really doesn’t even follow the teachings of the bible that closely. There is also no such thing as an eternally burning hell. It is defined in revelation as “the second death” in which the wicked are simply destroyed and cease to exist. They are not somehow being eternally tortured. Additionally the bible mentions numerous times that death is like a sleep, and that we wait for Christs second coming to be resurrected and brought up into the clouds with those who are still alive. The wicked simply perish and are turned to ashes by the bright light of God, later to be resurrected to see the holy city descending from the clouds onto the new Earth, and then once again out to death by God when they try to rush the city. A loving God would not condemn his unruly children to a place of eternal torment. Jesus says that “whoever believes in me has everlasting life”. Well, couldn’t we agree that living in a fiery pit of torment forever is receiving everlasting life? It’s not a happy one? Now, you don’t believe in Jesus, but I do. Yet, you might be more righteous than me. You may love more than me. I am no one to judge. I am a Seventh-Day Adventist Christian and I stand against traditional evangelical Christian beliefs that are riddled with lies and false tradition. I keep the sabbath day holy as it is the fourth commandment and I believe that Christians are all expected to keep the Ten Commandments of God. As they are Gods commandments and we are meant to follow the law of God to set ourselves aside from the world. I don’t eat unclean foods, not because I believe it is necessary for salvation, but because God gave us dietary guidelines for what is healthy and unhealthy for our bodies. And our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit so why not keep it clean for Him? Now, I don’t know a lot about what traditional non-messianic Jews believe nowadays, but I do know that whether or not you believe He is the Christ, Jesus loves you. He praises you when you do good and is disappointed when you do bad. Just the same as his with Christians. And of course maybe it’s not ideal to Christians that you don’t believe in Jesus, but His thoughts are higher than our thoughts and his ways are higher than our ways, and only He has the right to judge. I do not judge you for not believing in Jesus (I am saddened by it), and I’m not trying to convert you. All I wanted to do was explain a few of the errors in modern day Chistianity and perhaps look into the truth of the bibles teaching before making a judgement on it. Because not all Christians believe the same thing. And not all of us have some agenda to convey you by some motive other than love. Whether or not that many Jews become converted, Jesus is STILL coming. There is absolutely nothing in the bible saying that a certain amount of Jews have to be converted before he comes to get us. And you won’t be left behind on earth after the rapture. There will be no one on the earth after the rapture. Even if you disagree with a teaching, that does not mean that those who do believe in the teaching aren’t misusing or misinterpreting it. I am an anthropology major, so I like looking into different belief systems before I make snap judgements about them. So, It upsets me when other people make judgements about a religion based on what they’ve heard about it, rather than what they really KNOW about it. And maybe you don’t care. That’s fine. But regardless, what you’ve heard about the bible is incorrect. Try checking out a Seventh-Day Adventist page someday. God bless you.

    • Sierra,

I know about your faith and as with all others, I respect it. This does not mean I agree with it, it means that I believe you have as much right to be a Seventh Day Adventist as I have to be a Jew.

As to all your remarks about the truth or untruths I have stated regarding the Rapture, they did not come from me. There is a plethora of “Holy Roller” Preachers that claim they have had things “revealed to them” regarding the rapture. I think they probably make it up, knowing that if they shout it loud enough, people will send them millions upon millions of dollars. Unfortunately, it is many of these preachers that are Jew Scammers. They try and tell Jews that they can follow the teachings of Jesus and still be Jewish. Those are plain and simply lies.

One last thing. I do not “… make judgements about a religion based on what they’ve heard about it, rather than what they really KNOW about it. And maybe you don’t care.” I have researched messianic “Judaism” for many, many years. I know who they are and I know what they are trying to do. I also studied many other religions so I have a pretty good idea of who wants their religion to be the only one and who just wants to live in peace.

I hope you have a better idea now of who I am and what I represent. This blog is meant to educate Jews about the Jew Scammers. I welcome divergent opinions that are respectful and do not try to get me to believe that Jesus is coming. So far as I and millions of other Jews believe, he was a false messiah and we still wait for the day when Moshiach will come.
      Sue

  11. I am a Jewish Christian. I’m thankful to say that this is not truth. I’m sure you mean well, but I would like for you to do a little more research as you are steering people in the wrong direction. The Messiah will return 7 years after the rapture. The Christian Jews will NOT have a place in the 7 years of tribulation, He is a merciful God. When Jesus comes back to the earth after the seven years of “hell” on earth everyone who loves God will be thankful for him. The millennium does not start until after that. That’s when peace will reign on the earth for 1000 years. And no, the Jews do not burn in hell, they are the apple of Gods eye. He loves his children. Please, please… Put arrogance away so humility can come into your heart and you may see. May God bless you so that you may be a blessing to others.

    • Kim,
I am only answering your first post as the other six that you wrote became more and more irrational.

First, you are NOT a Jewish Christisn as there is no such thing. You can quote phony scripture to me from today till tomorrow. What will not change is that if you chose (or were tricked) into being one of the Jew scammers, you are Christian. As to whether the interpretation of the rapture that I posited seemed incorrect to you, don’t blame me, blame the preachers who spouted these theories. I just read a few of these rather strange (to me) religious prognostications. Judaism has one Torah that has not changed since it was given to Moses. Within it we learn of what will happen before Moshiach comes (the Messiah) which has not happened yet. Christianity has so many different preachers, giving so many different versions of what will happen at the end of times, it makes your head spin.

So Kim, you need to figure out just what it was that the Jew scammers did to convince you that you can believe in Christ and be a Jew. The one thing they did not do, was to tell you the truth.

      • Susan, you are leading people severely astray. Your arrogance and ignorance is why our people wandered in the desert for 40 years with Moses. Our people have been persecuted from the beginning of days because of arrogance. If you will not humble yourself and allow God to soften your heart, then God himself will humble you. The end will come quickly, and a harsh 7 years will be painful for you and your children as it was in days of old. At that time you will notice not many Christians will be around… When this happens remember 7 years of agony is upon our people. Our Messiah came, but you did not recognize him, he was pierced for out transgressions as Isaiah stated. The first time he came humble, but his own did not receive him. The second time he will come with power and Glory. Stop your foolish thinking and turn from this evil way. Look again to our feasts… 3 have been fulfilled, the next is coming and the last one will be after ALL of creation has seen Jesus The Christ high and lifted up. I pray for your soul, for on the day of judgement you will have to answer for what you have done, repent and stop leading people to the devil. May God have mercy on you.

      • Kim,

You were so much more pleasant in your earlier post. Telling you the truth about Jew Scammers seems to bring out your true colors. Let us analyze your comment of 6/17/2015.First you talk about , “our people”, aligning yourself with the Israelites wandering in the desert and me, a Jew living in 2015. Then you say that , “our people”, have been persecuted, again aligning yourself with Jews both in the past and present. Why you think my, “arrogance” is responsible for all these problems when they were mostly caused by pagans and Christians. As for my ignorance, going by the definition of that word, I would have to be uninformed about people like you. Sorry Kim, I am very informed as to the methodology of the Jew Scammers.

In your third sentence you no longer are an, “our” with me and the Jewish people. Suddenly you want to be our judge and inflictor of seven years of pain; and these are your true colors. I am always amazed at how some Christians can be so hateful to others. If I choose to worship as I please; you want me, my children and I assume my grandchildren to suffer unbearable agony. You want to talk about ARROGANCE? HOW DARE YOU! How dare you threaten my family with your twisted belief! How dare you presume to have the right and only path to G-d. You arrogant idiot! Do you think that if Jesus could come back he would want to be with people like you? He wouldn’t even go to a church as it is anathemic to all he believed in and churches did not even exist during his lifetime. This man, a religious Jew from his birth to his death at the hand of his political enemies, would look for the nearest orthodox synagogue.

Here is a freebie to help you be less ignorant and yes, I do mean uninformed. Jews do not believe in the devil, that is a Christian invention. In the bible, and by this I mean the Tanakh, Satan (pronounced sah-tahn) is an angel, an agent of G-d. There is no hell or red caped, being with tails and horns, existing in Judaism; so how could I lead you to him? If you want to know more, you can look it up on one of the many Jewish sites that Jew Scammers use to look and sound more Jewish.

If you ever write to this site again it had better be to apologize for your comments. Anything else will end up in the trash which is where your comment belongs.
        Susan

    • Jews For Jesus was the first , modern day effort by a group of Christians to fool Jews into thinking that they could worship Jesus and still be Jews. Tecnically, to be a Jew for Jesus you should be a Jew first. However, the majority of the members of that and all messianic “Jewish”, Jew Scammer groups are Christian. Dressing like a Jew and using phony Jewish-like prayer books does not make you a Jew. It is all a lot of hooey. Check out my latest posts of how Torah observant Christians are getting very good at infiltrating synagogues and Jewish organizations.

  13. I would just like to thank you for a very well written and educational piece. I am raised of the Christian faith. That’s about as far as my faith goes though. I’ve just always been curious why a person would call themselves a Jewish Christian. Your blog answered it well. Thank you.

    • Thank you for writing a comment. There are many Christians that have no information regarding the evangelical Christians push for converting Jews. One of the reasons for this is that these money-hungry evangelical preachers you hear on radio and see on television, take the Christian bible and corrupt it. Therefore, other Christians (ie: Catholics) have little or nothing to do with them. Money, not faith drives these charismatic preachers and millions follow in their path. It is a shame that more mainstream Christians do not stand up and denounce this made up religion of messianic “Judaism”. It is an insult to both Jews and Christians alike. Christianity mandates that the gospel be spread to non-believers. It does not mandate, nor does it condone, diluting Christianity in a mix with Judaism to do so. I invite you as a Christian to teach others about this phony religion and the Christian Jew Scammers that support it. Thanks, Susan

      • Dear Susan,
I am not a Christian, but I don’t know any classification for my beliefs except they come down from a people in Tambov with a history going back to the 1600’s and before. Jesus is held to be a teacher and only his teachings are passed on orally from generation to generation. Their life style is closest to what the Ebionites are written to have lived. Some were subotnicks who have gone to Israel and settled there. Some are Molokans who keep Jewish customs and there are some who have assimilated almost entirely into the culture of the country they are in.
        .
Opposing the Messianics is difficult go at the best of times. They operate like well trained salesmen and when cornered they resort to the usual extreme Christian standby – accusing me of lying, name calling and verbal abuse. Recently I ran into such a group on Jerusalemlive on a forum and what a nasty bunch of people.
        .
Thank you for your writings today. They reinforce what I’ve been saying on forums for a long time.

  14. Shalom, Susan,

I don’t want to waste your time . . . you have to focus on combatting the Jew Scammers. I just wanted to tell you that I appreciate your good work of educating the public and exposing the Jew Scammers. You really socked it to Kim, that ferkokteh, hate-filled hypocrite! As we progress through the Three Weeks to commemorate the destruction of the Temples and pray for its rebuilding, we can think about “sinat chinam” and the task that lies ahead of us. Yishar koach!

    • Linda,

Thank you for your comment. It is good to know that there are people out there supporting what I do, rather than questioning it. Since I do work alone it is nice to have positive feedback.

    • Mensch,

Thank you for your comment. What you say is thankfully, true. If you look at the last line of my post I ask, “What is the price of a Jew today?” Too many people have come up to me and said that those who join these groups are not worth saving. I tell them to go and say that to their parents or children; husband or wife.

Even if one Jew is lost that is one Jew too many. Thank G-d that Jewish people are now more
aware but these Jew Scammers are well trained. They are taught from childhood how to befriend the Jew. There are training classes on how to seed a congregation wherever there are Jews. So long as they remain vigilant, so will I and others like me.

  16. Susan

Thank you for your excellent Blogs especially your highlighting the Christian money-grabbing ‘Jew Scammers’ in the ‘Jews for Jesus’ and other self styled ‘Messianic Jews’ organisations who use deceit and bribery to turn aside you and your fellow Jews into worshipping their Christian idols such as Jesus Christ, the Trinity and Triunity etc. I am pleased to read in one of your replies above where you acknowledge that Yeshua was believed by Jews to be the Messiah long before Christians brought in their idol Jesus Christ. You may be surprised to know that there are many who today believe that Yeshua is the Messiah but do not worship him or pray to him but simply seek to follow his teachings. I refer you to the following website link which you might find of interest http://www.disciplesofyeshuwa.com/

    • Oh Patrick, you can not possibly believe that you and I are on the same page. First, you wrote, “…. you acknowledge that Yeshua was believed by Jews to be the Messiah long before Christians brought in their idol Jesus Christ.” I have said that some Jews thought that Jesus was the messiah. I have also said that he, along with many others claiming to be the messiah, were proved to be FALSE MESSIAHS! Not once have I ever referred to an, ” ..idol Jesus Christ.” Please make sure you understand what I am writing and do not put your personal spin on it.

Second, about the website link you put in your comment. I looked at it very carefully and I can unequivocally state that I do not agree with anything on that site. I do believe in the validity of other religions even if I disagree with what they believe. It is no secret that I think that Judaism is the most sensible and reasonable of all the religions I have studied and that I hate the Jew Scammers that mock my faith by imitating it to convert Jews. That website you referred me to, has a lot of hate in it and still wants Jews to believe as you do. You seem to be an intelligent man so I will address you as such. That website makes no sense at all. You don’t believe in any religion or G-d but you believe in a version of Jesus. By the way, according your website, you worship, “Yeshuwa” (Jesus) big time. My suggestion is that you look at your faith very carefully. A faith based on hate of others is a religion of hate. Just look at the Middle East situation and you can see that the hate, built into parts of the Koran have caused thousands of deaths. Hopefully you will look at your website with very open eyes. Good Luck!

  17. I have never heard this in my life. I was always taught the 144,000 were Jews who were saved in the tribulation. I attend iphc, but I remember a Jehovah’s witness telling me the 144,000 were the only saved people in heaven, and that heaven met that number and was complete in 1935 and the rest if us will live in the new earth…. So many different interpretations, but I hope all people get saved, because I don’t want anyone to go to hell. Anxiety attacks are hell on earth for me, and I can’t imagine spending eternity a million times worse than that, and I wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy.

    • Stephanie, you seem like a nice person and I certainly do not want to cause you any anxiety about your faith. There are many religions and many interpretations about the afterlife. Judaism and the Torah are the basis for many other religions, including Christianity. Jews follow only the Bible and not any of the many versions of the New Testament. Tonight we begin Yom Kippur, a day of fasting and atonement. We do not ask forgiveness just from G-d. We also ask forgiveness from anyone we may have offended and forgive them if they offended us. We believe that we are judged by our good deeds and do all we can to make this a better world. We do not believe in salvation through anyone’s death. As to the 144,000, that is a concept that evangelical ministers use to encourage Christians to convert Jews, mostly through the lie and deceit that you can believe in Jesus and still be Jewish. So don’t worry so much. Jews were the first ones to believe in one G-d so we it might make sense to rely on our version of how to best be judged by G-d; just be a good person.

      • I’m a christian and your absolutely correct…from a christians point of view there has been an obsession to convert jews but mostly done in insensitive ways…also from a christian point of view its in God’s hands and timing in respect of Jews to believe in Christ but that time is not now.

We believe in the same messiah which you await for…Yeh identity of the messiah is what’s at question but regardless we believe in the same coming king of Israel messiah.

Where we can help each other is in religious scripture that of the messiah coming in end times…

      • Your comment is a little confusing and I am not sure how to respond to it. Therefore I will address certain points. You state that the time for Jews to believe in Christ is not now. I would counter that the time is never. It is inconceivable to me that Christians would want Judaism, from where Christianity had its earliest roots, to be wiped off the face of the earth. That is kind of like an atheist saying, “I am going to kill off all my faith believing family so I will have no reminder from where I came.”

It is not just the identity of the messiah we disagree on. There is no question in the mind of a true Jew, that Christ was anything but one of dozens of men at that time in Jewish history, who claimed to be the messiah. There are strict guidelines set out in the original Bible and no human being has yet to meet those criteria. Jews are still waiting for the true Moshiach (messiah).

Since Jews do not believe in the Christian concept of end times, any discussion would be purely academic.
I respect your right to believe in anything you choose. All I ask is that you extend that courtesy to me, my fellow Jews and any others that do not conform to your strict, unyielding beliefs. Stop trying to convert us whether through witnessing or the lies and deceit of messianic “Judaism”. Put all that money and effort into bringing peace to the world now rather than waiting for any future savior to do it.

  18. Hi, I am a Bible Believing Christian I would like to be enlightened about Christians turning Jews to Jesus Doesn’t Paul say in Romans that we Gentiles can come in Salvation and that all Israel will be saved?

    • Hi Kia,
Sorry it took so long to respond. Although I have read a few versions of the Christian Bible (what you would call the New Testament) I cannot quote chapter and verse. I understand that it is a Christian premise that if you accept Christ into your life you will achieve salvation; whatever that may be. I also understand that some Christians believe that when, what they call, the second coming arrives, all Jews (Israel) will automatically believe in Jesus. Other, more radical Christians believe that those Jews who have not or will not accept Christ as their savior (count me in on that) will burn in eternal damnation.

Now that you know, in a small way, how I understand your statement I will try and explain, in a nutshell about Christians attempts to turn Jews to Jesus. If you have read my earlier postings you would know that the man you call Jesus was one of many Jews who were considered by some other Jews to be Moshiach (the Messiah). Each of these Jews were proven to be false messiahs as none of them met the strict criteria that is written in the Bible (the original one). Jesus was very political and had a devout following among some Jews. When he, along with thousands of others that were considered dangerous to the Empire, was nailed onto wooden posts and left to die, his followers continued to falsely believe he was the Messiah. This group splintered and through a series of events, pagans began to elevate Jesus to mythological status. The Emperor, to gain control of this movement adopted it and modern day Christianity began. By this time, the following of a hoped for Jewish messiah lost all vestiges of Judaism and Christianity was born.

It is my believe that the new Christians, in order to bring validity to their faith, had to discredit Judaism or bring Jews to Christianity. Historically, Jews have suffered over and over at the hands of Christians who saw it as their, “G-d given right” to convert or get rid of Jews using any means necessary. In the past this has meant expulsion from their homes, torture and all too often, death. Today we live in a more civilized society so most Christians who wish to convert a Jew will ask if they can witness to that Jew. Radical Southern Baptist Jews today have latched onto a new method to convert Jews, messianic Judaism. It started with Jews for Jesus, run by a former Jew who had married a Christian and accepted Christianity as his faith. They used some of the accoutrements (those things that identify a Jew: kippah, tallesim, Jewish prayer books, etc.) to make it appealing to the Jews they targeted. The Southern Baptists saw a good P.R. way to convert Jews and took it to another level, trying to deceive Jews into thinking they were actually seeing a Jewish organization.

I will sop her as all of this has been explained in earlier postings. I hope I have in some small way answered your question. Now I have one for you. Why do you think that Christians are so afraid of the religion from which they originated that they have to try and eliminate Judaism altogether? Something to think about.
